The MEDC Series XB11 Strobe has been designed for use in potentially explosive gas and dust atmospheres and harsh environmental conditions. The strobe housing is manufactured from a UV stable, glass reinforced polyester (GRP) enclosure that is suitable for offshore and onshore use where corrosion resistance is required in a light weight assembly. Stainless steel screws and mounting bracket are incorporated ensuring a totally corrosion free product.

Potter MBA bells are designed for public mode signaling in accordance with NFPA 72. The bells produce a long and continuous high dBA ringing sound at low current draw and utilize low frequency shells for better audibility.

The Wheelock 43T Vibrating Bell for fire and life safety alarm systems incorporates high dBA levels, low current draw and uses low frequency aluminum shells for better audibility.

The Wheelock DSM Sync Module is utilized with the Series Exceder, Series AS/AH, Series RSS, and Series RSSP appliances. When used with Series AS Audible Strobes and/or Series Exceder Horn Strobes, the DSM Sync Module provides independent operation of synchronized temporal pattern (code 3) horn and synchronized strobe flash, as well as the ability to silence the horn while maintaining the strobe flash, while using only a single pair of wires. The DSM-12/24-R Sync Module controls either a Class A or two (2) Class B NAC circuits.

The Exceder Series appliances incorporate high reliability and high efficiency optics to minimize current draw allowing for a greater number of appliances on the notification appliance circuit. All strobe models feature 8 candela settings on a single appliance. Audible models feature 3 sound settings (90, 95, 99 dB). All switches to change settings can be set without the use of a tool and are located behind the appliance to prevent tampering. Wall models feature voltage test points to take readings with a voltage meter for troubleshooting and AHJ inspection.

The Wheelock POWERPATH (PS-8-LP) is a supervised remote power supply/battery charger in a low profile cabinet that is used for supervision and expanded power driving capability of fire alarm Notification Appliance Circuits (NAC). The PS-8-LP is filtered and regulated and provides 8 amps of power distributed across 4 outputs.

The power supplies may be connected to Kidde Fire Systems' families of AEGIS and ARIES Control Units by using a NAC or a "Dry Contact." This unit provides filtered and regulated 24VDC, up to four (4) Class "B”, two (2) Class "A” or two (2) Class "B" and one (1) Class "A” Notification Appliance Circuits. With the optional plugin PS-EXP module the unit supports (8) Class "B" or (4) Class "A”. Notification Appliance Circuits. Additionally, an auxiliary power output of 2.5 Amps (disconnected upon AC power loss or an alarm condition) or up to 0.240 A of constant power on the PS-8-LP.

The Wheelock Series CVX/CSX Explosion-Proof bells support Division One applications. These Bells are available for indoor or outdoor applications and in 24 VDC and 115 VAC variants.

The Wheelock Series MB, 6 and 10 inch, Motor Bells provide high quality audible notification for fire alarm and suppression applications. These bells have high dBA sound output levels, low current draws, multiple mounting options, aluminum shells and support 24 VDC applications. The motor in the bells is a durable, high torque permanent magnet motor selected for its high performance and long life.

The Wheelock Series MT Multitone Horns and Horn-Strobes offer a choice of eight (8) nationally and internationally recognized alerting sounds: Horn, Bell, March Time Horn, Code-3 Tone, Code-3 Horn, Slow Whoop, Siren or Hi/Lo Tone. The Code-3 horn and tone patterns are engineered to comply with NFPA/ANSI Temporal Pattern specifications without requiring additional equipment.

Each MT and MT Strobe appliance has two user selective sound output levels: STANDARD dBA and HIGH dBA. The MT-12/24 provides dual voltage capability in one unit, 12 VDC or 24 VDC operation, filtered or FWR. The MT Strobe Electronic appliances operate with 24 VDC and may be used with filtered or unfiltered (fullwave-rectified) input voltages. Separate input terminals are available and shunt wires are provided to enable both tone and strobe to operate simultaneously from a single input.

The Wheelock Series RSSP Multi-Candela Strobe Plates offer a cost-effective way to retrofit strobe appliances to bells, horns, multitones or speakers and easily mount to standard 4-in. backboxes for flush mounting or to the SBL2 backbox for surface mounting.

As dual listed appliances, these weatherproof strobes are listed for outdoor applications under UL 1638, as well as under UL 1971 the Standard for Safety Signaling Devices for Hearing Impaired. With an extended temperature range of -31°F to 150°F (-35°C to 66°C), these weatherproof strobes meet or exceed UL outdoor test requirements for rain, humidity and corrosion resistance while providing up to 185 candela per UL 1638. These strobes are also ULC Listed under CAN/ULC-S526-07 for Visual Signaling Appliances.
